I usually don't write reviews, but this item is amazing.  I just used it for the first time at an appointment and it made sitting under the dryer a piece of cake.  I've had to sit under for prolonged periods of time to dry a rod set, etc. and have ended up with burns on the tips of my ears.  This will change that.  Even my stylist asked where I got it!

The only thing I regret about this purchase is that I didn’t buy it sooner.

I have thick long hair that takes about 1.25 hours for a roller set to dry. My forehead and ears are usually medium well by the time my hair is dry :(

This shield works wonders, no more hot, sweaty heat sessions under the dryer. I put this on and I can bear the heat from both my hard and soft bonnet dryers! I can now take my naps comfortably under the dryer;-) I highly recommend this heat shield because it works, it keeps the hot air from blowing down in your face. The cushion part for your ears is great even though I still use my ear covers for added heat protection.

This is a must buy for anyone who has to endure frequent & long bonnet dryer times. I do my own roller wraps at home. For my hair length I need at least 1.5 hrs (most times closer to 2 hours) to get the rollers completely dry. It's TORTURE to sit under there that long. This shield makes it not only bearable but comfortable enough to multitask while I'm under there (as opposed to being so consumed by the discomfort that I can't think of anything else). In my experience, it's easy to put on (velcro closure in the back) and stays on pretty well (I never have to readjust). There are even extra padding to protect the ears. Overall it's a pretty good inexpensive solution to a hair grooming problem.

I discovered that the heat shield adjusts very well to different head sizes; my head is larger than most, and after looking at the directions, I realized that there was a strip of Velcro in back (hidden by the flap) that allows an adjustment of more than an inch either way. Once you get it adjusted to your size, the elastic allows you to pop the shield on and off without disturbing the Velcro again. Pop the little pockets over your ears, and you're done. No more dried-out eyes from the hard-bonnet hair dryer.

I hate going under the dryer so this is a must if you are anything like me. Now I don’t have to hold my towel to my ears while burning my fingers. Now I can use my iPhone while my hair dries...without discomfort. Love that!!!!!!

I was extremely skeptic to purchase this item but boy am I glad I did! I recently bought a Pibbs 514 hair dryer which gets very hot. I have those plastic cups for the ears but they are a hassle to keep on. This heat protector shields not only your ears but your face as well. I can now tolerate being under the dryer to condition and dry my 4C hair.
